Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce Strategic Alliance with The United States Small Business Administration

Purpose:

The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce (AICC) are joined by a common mission: spirit of cooperation and open communications, consistent with law, with the primary goal of meeting the needs of the small business community.

AICC is committed to improving the business climate in the area, by assisting both start up businesses and existing businesses in succeeding through, education, information and outreach. In addition., AICC recognizes the significant role with small ,minority and women-owned businesses play and represents businesses with high quality service, professionalism and integrity.

The mission of the SBA is to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business by providing financial, contractual and business development assistance and advocating on their behalf within the government. SBA district offers deliver SBA Programs and the services to the public.

The purpose of the Strategic Alliance Memorandum (SAM) is to develop and foster mutual understanding and a working relationship between the SBA and the AICC in order to strengthen and expand small business development in the local area.

• The AICC will make available to its members SBA pamphlets, brochures and other publications.
• The AICC will also inform AICC’S small business members of SBA’S programs and services including referrals to SBA’s Resources Partners when available.

The Edison Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit professional business organization dedicated to fostering the prosperity of the business community and Edison's economic vitality in the region. The Edison Chamber provides many programs and initiatives that benefit members -- helping them build business relationships and grow their businesses.

The President / CEO of the Edison Chamber of Commerce Ms. Barbara C Roos have join hands with AICC in a new format for our Networking - called 'Speed Networking'. The format has been designed to provide with a diverse platform to Network and do business with. In addition, this format forces you to meet and greet each and every individual.
