A - As a member of the Chamber, you are afforded unique opportunities to develop new business contacts through our extensive program of events, functions and trade seminars. The Chamber also provides you with an effective platform from which to make your voice heard with decision-makers in government and industry.

Q - What will I be required to do?

A- Membership with our Chamber does not entail obligations on your part. However, members who get the most from our association are those that put the most in. As an active member of our Chamber you will make more contacts and enjoy additional opportunities to learn more about the subjects that affect your business.

Q - Can the Chamber help small businesses as well as large businesses?

A - Absolutely. The Chamber is designed to be of benefit to a one-person business as well as a 600+ employee business.

Q - How much does it cost to be a member in the Chamber?
|
|
A - Basic - $100 Annual, Premium - $200 Annual, Life - $1000 One Time, Corporate-$500 Annual (1-5 employees)

Q - How will I know about the events and meetings?
|
|
A - The Chamber mails out our newsletter every month that tells you about all the upcoming events. For some events the Chamber mails out fliers or invitations to every member. Call the Chamber to have a notice mailed or faxed to you or stop by the main office for information. Or, simply check the online Events Calendar !

Q - How many members are in the Chamber?
|
|
A - The membership count fluctuates almost on a daily basis due to new members coming in, businesses dropping out,going out of business or merging. The AICC is proud to say that it is one of the most active Chambers for Asian Indians in the east coast with more than 300 members.

Q - How do you promote my business?
|
|
A - The Chamber has many advertising, marketing,promotional and networking opportunities to pass on to the member such as advertising in Currents newsletter and on the Chamber's web site, sponsoring of events, ribbon cuttings, Business After 5 networking, listings in Currents when you join or renew and recommending members to visitors and residents when they inquire. Every event, roject, promotion or publication is designed with the member in mind.

Q - do you refer your members?
|
|
A - When we get an inquiry for service or product, that category is pulled up and all members listed are referred. They are also referred through Chamber publications and the web site.
